Another Wild Wednesday

You know, I was thinking. Last week's record setting (for now) WW made me realize just how much you all have missed it. I think the free sharing of ideas is wonderful and that we all have a good time with the process. From this point forward though I think it would be good to have a WW topic. That way we can focus in on all of the knowledge of the Pudgeman in a specified area. Todays very broad topic is AUTOMOBILES! That's it. Just make sure that every question that is asked today has something you can relate to the automobile. All non-automobile comments will be deleted. Be blessed beyond belief today.

J, how oversized are the pistons and what is the lift on the cam?
BO1980, It's because of sociological indifference......Unfortunately.

it's not sociological indifference on my part. i have barely enough car knowledge to fill my gas tank. the most i could do is pull over and say, "hello, just passing through and thought you needed a friend."

What will be the next fuel that replaces oil for automobiles?

How come cars can't make their own gas like humans do?

Can we bottle up our personal gas to run cars?

Russ, the next automotive fuel will be plutonium! Didn't you see Back To The Future?
Susanna, Because the cost of transporting fuel to the nothern part of lower Michigan is higher than it is to transport it to Canton. Also, there is significantly less competition in that TC area than down here, that will drive the price up also.
Bruce, because they don't eat the same food that humans do.
Russ, Sure just get you a bottle that will fit where it needs to fit and run it directly into the fuel injection system of your car. Remember though, no solid particles in your fuel!

Which is more fuel-efficient: using the air conditioner or driving with the windows open?

GW, most of the time if the engine is running efficiently and the AC is charged properly it is more efficient to run the AC. The reason for this is that the wind drag on the car increases dramatically when the windows are open! But, this could change depending on individual vehicles.
