What To Do?

You know, I was thinking. Today is my one month anniversary. Yes I know that some of you are saying "oh that's sweet" while others are saying "we know, we know"! No matter what, it is still one of many mile stones for Rachel and me. Tonight is date night and we are going out to dinner and have decided that we would rather go rent a video and come back home instead of going out to a movie. Right now I need some suggestions for a good movie to rent. We both like action movies (lots of explosions and stuff but not a lot of guts hanging out) and comedies. I want to hear from you folks on some good movie rental suggestions. Please let me know what you have seen and liked in the past couple of months. I will then run it past the lovely Mrs. M and we will make our decision. I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend and be blessed beyond belief today.

Let me take this time to remind you of the free movie service available at The Mud Puppy Library.

(I know it probably won't make sense to borrow one tonight, but it will show you a few that I like)

Quickly browsing through, I think you'd like Fever Pitch (Baseball movie / Love story).

Hmmm...last movie I saw was Open Season. Cute, but not quite Date Night material. Might I suggest Young Frankenstein? Good clean fun (?) with monsters 'n everything!! And no guts.

Oops, my bad. Last movie I saw was Eragon. I really enjoyed it, but I'm not sure if it's out on DVD or video yet.

Nope, we haven't seen that one. I'll add that, Fever Pitch, Guardian and Young Frankenstein to the list. B4T

Buckle your Swash and grab an old Errol Flynn movie. I suggest "The Adventures of Robin Hood", "The Sea Hawk", or "Adventures of Don Juan".

On a side note, the word verification needs a time out. It just told me ausux. LOL

Well you asked for an action movie with no guts then I would suggest "The Mummy" get it no guts. ROTFL

National Treasure is Awesome
Narnia
Ice Age the Melt Down
Facing the Giants if it's out on DVD

I have been wanting to see National Treasure. We have seen Narnia but not the other two. I'll have to see if Blockbuster has ANY Errol Flynn movies. Something really old might just be what we are looking for! Maybe we'll have to get a couple to help endure this long cold weekend!

Do I getany retroactive extra points on your quiz if you get an Errol Flynn movie and watch it? ^.^;;

Raivynn, since you don't know me that well I won't Pudge you for begging. The quiz is over, you chose the lazy route to take the quiz. You get no extra points. But thank you for the movie ideas! B4T

Thanks folks for all of the suggestions. We rented several movies that looked good. The one we went with for Friday night was "The Guardian". Great suggestion Jason we both loved it. Just so you know Tonya we did rent "Wedding Date" but we haven't watched it yet. Thanks again to all of you for your suggestions. B4T
